THE POUCH

What is The Pouch?

For the AW18 collection we were looking for something that would be a natural next step for baskets. We came across one of the many Japanese furoshiki wrapping techniques that can easily transform a square fabric into a bag by tying it on handles. Since our Rosie basket was already made with round handles this seemed like the perfect match. And this is how The Pouch was born.

What is The Pouch made from?

The Pouch is made from a square fabric and a pair of willow wicker basket handles. You can find the fabric content of each pouch design on their individual product pages.

Who is making The Pouch?

The round handles are made by the same Hungarian artisans who are supplying all our baskets. The fabrics are hemmed by two seamstresses: one of them is based in Hungary and the other one is based in the Netherlands. The final product is tied together in the Netherlands by the founder of FONOTT.

Can I buy the fabric and the handles separately?

You can purchase the square fabrics separately here. We do not sell the handles separately.

How do you tie the fabric on the handles?

BASKETS

What is the size of the basket bag?

You can find the exact size of each basket on the product pages. Slight differences in size and colour might occur due to the manufacturing process.

What are the basket bags made from?

The No.1 and Rosie baskets are made of willow. Willow is a renewable and sustainable crop annually harvested from a stump in withy beds.

The Julie baskets are made of bulrush, a reed-like water plant native to Europe.

Who is making the basket bags?

Each basket is hand-woven in Hungary by a small family business. They have been practicing the art of basket weaving for over 100 years. 

Is there an order limit?

Yes, we can process maximum 3 baskets per order. There is a limited stock available and we want to give the chance to order for as many individual customers as possible. In case you want to order more than 3 baskets you can get in touch via info@fonott.com

PAYMENT

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay by:

  • PayPal
  • Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, American Express)
  • iDeal (for holders of Dutch bank accounts)

My order didn't go through but the amount has been taken from my credit card. What now?

If you didn't receive an order confirmation then most probably the amount should be released back to your card in a few hours. If the money is still not back on your account after 24 hours please get in touch via info@fonott.com

Any delivery date or time specified by FONOTT is a best estimate only, and FONOTT will be not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. 

How long does shipping take?

Within the EU shipping usually takes 3-8 business days. For the rest of the world delivery times will vary depending on the receiving country & customs clearance times. Check estimated transit times here.

Will I receive a tracking code?

Yes, once your order was processed you will receive a tracking code to follow your package.

Why did I get this message: "There are no shipping methods available for your cart or destination" ?

You got this message because you have more than 3 baskets in your cart. Unfortunately we can only process maximum 3 baskets per order.

RETURNS

Can I return the items I ordered?

Yes, that is possible within 14 days of receipt with the tag still attached and in the original packaging. Return costs are for the buyer. You can find more information about returns here. The returned package must contain the filled out refund sheet included in your original package.

I lost my return sheet/I never received a return sheet. What now?

Please send us an email via info@fonott.com and we will send you a new one.
